On April 22 to 25, the finals of the 7th National Contest On Logistics Design by University Students of "SinoTrans Cup" was held in Beijing. The first team of SDAEU, which is composed of 2018 material engineering students Zhang Zhemin, Ma Meichen, Ma Min, Cao Youpo, and Han Guangyan under the guidance of Zheng Aimin and Chang Peipei, won the national third prize. The second team of SDAEU composed of Zhao Zhihao, Cui Yancong, Gao Fangyu, Qiu Huimin and Zhu Jie won the National Excellence Award.

NCOLD is a large-scale logistics competition for all college students across the country. In 2007, it was included in the "Quality Engineering" project of the Ministry of Education. Since the competition was launched in 2006, it has been successfully held for six times. As the first brand of domestic logistics competition, the National University Student Logistics Design Competition is currently the most professional, authoritative and practical university logistics competition in China, and it is also recognized as a "national logistics Olympic competition" by teachers and students of logistics majors.

Since the competition was launched in October 2020, it has attracted 656 teams from 363 universities across the country to participate in the contest. After a fierce preliminary round, 349 teams entered the semi-finals, and through layers of selection, 90 teams eventually entered the finals. The finals will be conducted by means of live presentations, questions from experts, and on-site defenses by players. The expert review team is composed of logistics industry experts, well-known professors of logistics colleges and corporate executives.

The competition provides a reference for solving practical problems in the enterprise through the program design, and plays a very important role in improving the organization and planning ability of college students, analyzing and solving problems and practical ability, promoting teaching and learning, and cultivating logistics talents in the new era. The competition is of great significance to promote the logistics teaching reform of our school, promote the close integration of theoretical learning and the actual needs of enterprises, and promote school-enterprise cooperation and employment of college students.
